About me

Hello! I’m Olivia,

Designer, collaborator and crime documentary enthusiast with an eye for the aesthetic.

Currently I am studying BA Graphic Design at Arts University Bournemouth where I have recently had the opportunity to work with Bright Blue Day, an independent agency. We were challenged to create a campaign for CBD products to highlight their potential health benefits. Our approach was to create a product range and branding campaign to position the product in a new market. Subsequently, I created a book of my creative process. Designing layouts in InDesign, printing and perfect binding the book myself.

I was pleased to receive recognition for my process book, by being selected to work with a costume designer and senior lecturer at AUB. I was asked to create a series of mock-ups and layouts for her to see how she might communicate a complex set of instructions in the development of her book for the publisher, Routledge.

Recently, I have become aware of the power of Graphic Design to persuade people and change general behaviours. This has both been through a motion graphics project where I created an animated sequence to highlight the possible issues of over protective parents and an environmental data collection project where we tried to mitigate the issues of water wastage through an innovative installation.

I feel I offer an open mind, work well collaboratively and have strong core design skills in type and layout. Furthermore, I hand coded this website using HTML and CSS in just ten days!

I am looking to do an internship over the summer and am keen to gain further industry insight. Please feel free to get in touch, I look forward to hearing from you.
